Fall Specials

I am so excited about the fall specials I am offering. The current trend is to spend less and to make what you do spend count. This is a good shift in pace, and I am all for supporting it! I think you will find the mini sessions provide just that. Enough time to play and have fun in front of the camera for a wide array of pictures and memories, a disk of all high resolution, edited images to print as many and as much of as you want for personal use, Christmas cards and gifts, and a quality, hand-retouched 8x10 printed on archival quality paper with archival quality inks from a professional lab to proudly display in your home. If this sounds like quality to you, then give me a call, because available slots are limited!

Huddle up!

This past weekend I had the pleasure of photographing a great family - I can state for a fact that the mom of the family is one of my absolute favorite people on earth...partly because she has helped me bring two very healthy baby girls into the world, and namely because she was my cheerleader and encourager during all of the months leading up to their births...and I am not sure how many other people can say that about their obstetrician. That being said, it was a particular pleasure to be able to photograph this family... but more than the sentimental tie, I had forgotten how very different a family of all boys can be from my estrogen filled house! One minute they could be rough housing and the next minute smiling just as innocent as could be- I loved it. I loved how very real they were, and how much they obviously care for each other...and also how much they obviously enjoying giving each other a hard time, but all in the name of family and love. I hope our growing family will be so blessed! So here are just a few glimpses of the time we had together...the rest are on their way!

Hannah

I feel like I should have something creative and witty to title this post, because that is what Hannah is - seriously, from the odd comments I have heard here and there, I am already convinced that this girl could go into stand up comedy and probably survive just fine. It was a treat to photograph such a beautiful, vivacious girl and the location she chose was almost as much fun- St. Georges School. What a cool location - I felt pretty blessed to go to have such a great campus at college, but I cannot even imagine this place being my elementary or upper level schooling location...wow! It was fun to explore a new setting...here is a sneak peak.

with Alexis

All I can say is Wow! Alexis was a lot of fun to photograph- you could tell that she just decided to dive in and enjoy the moment, and the result were some fun pictures with a lot of style and a little bit of sass!

Here Comes the Sun...

The day started out overcast - then cleared up and seemed very promising as I pulled out of my driveway. By the time I was halfway to finch to meet the lovely Jessica the wind was blowing so hard it look eerily dark outside and the radio was announcing severe thunder storms in the surrounding areas! When I pulled into the parking lot- rain...LOTS of it! Jessica and her mom were such good sports. I hopped into their car and we brainstormed different indoor locations we could try if it did not clear up, then waited it out a bit more. Fifteen minutes later, we were rewarded with beautiful sunshine and lighting that was a photographer's dream. Thank you, Jessica and Melinda, for being such great sports and having such wonderful attitudes. They turned out beautifully...even if we did have to take cover under the trees a time or two! Enjoy!
