The mini sessions are up! Last year my slots filled within the week, so call quickly if you have a particular time you need. Also, if you would like to schedule the full Family Lifestyles session instead, I am running a special which will give you a free digital file perfect for Christmas cards if you call me by October 11 to book a date before Christmas. Spread the word and enjoy!

I love it when people give the gift of a photography session. Not simply because it gives me something to do :), but because it really is the perfect way to show someone (in this case, parents/grandparents) that they are of value, and that these times in our life are precious and worth treasuring. This was a duo birthday gift my friend Emily and her brother gave their parents. (you will notice that Em shows up in a lot of photo shoots...I think she just *may* have a photography obsession! But who am I to talk!)
When I first met up with this family, little Jacob was convinced he only wanted pictures if he could wear his Superman outfit. When we encouraged him with the promise that he could have some pictures as Superman after we had a few in his Mama's choice, he agreed...the problem is, by the end he was having so much fun that we couldn't even get him to wear the Superman costume!!! Which is a bummer, because who doesn't love a kid in a red cape? So Maggie and Ed, if Jacob ever does want some more pictures with his red cape, just let me know and this photographer will be there like a speeding bullet! For now, here are some fun sneak peeks of a wonderful collection of images...enjoy, and the rest are soon to follow!

Can you say adorable? I have been excited to meet this family ever since I first spoke with their mom on the phone...I love it when parents have as much fun anticipating the photo shoot as I do! It was a great time full of wagons, balloons, laughing, giggling...and the occasional Skittle to match the fabulously bright & cheerful attire. Here you are, Hart-Burns family...enjoy!

When I first spoke with Porscha, she told me that she was hoping for a downtown photo shoot with some teal elements if we could find it. I don't know if any of you have been downtown recently, but it is a gridlock of construction...east, west, north, south as the city pushes through a major road overhaul before winter arrives. So, instead of meeting at a set spot, we decided to make an adventure of it. We piled into my car and drove around, parking at random spots and exploring the surroundings. What we ended up with was a fabulous time and some amazing colors to work with. A perfect match for a girl who carries herself with both artistic flair and quiet sophistication. I hope you will enjoy...
