On Chasing Dinosaurs and Such

Friday I had a wonderful time with two sweet boys. We climbed, explored, and chased dinosaur tracks. The fact is, we had so much fun that we *almost* forgot why we had even met up in the first place, which was to capture some fun 4 year old pictures! And even though the time was completely about J & T, I couldn't resist grabbing a couple pictures of their little sisters as well! I am excited to go dinosaur hunting again, soon. Here is your sneak peek... enjoy!

One-derful

When a friend asked me the other day what I had been up to, because she hadn't seen any recent blog posts, I thought...it can't really have been that long, can it? January 11? (sheepish grin). So, I guess it has been awhile! Personally, I have been enjoying time with my family, enjoying company and working on remodeling our 1950's "new" home. Professionally, I have also been busy, busy. I also post quite frequently on my Stillpoint Facebook Page if you are interested. I will have to post some more of my recent work ... but I will start with pictures of this beautiful, fun little lady who officially turned ONE this past week. My does time fly! Happy first birthday, sweet Olivia!

Wrapping up 2009 (no pun intended!)

Shame on me- it appears I took all of December off from blogging! We enjoyed a busy, energetic month filled with family, friends, and contemplation & celebration. Just what December is for. Now it is on to 2010! I am really excited about some upcoming photography shoots I have scheduled, as well as some planned expansions for the studio (did I say studio...why, yes, I did!) throughout 2010...it is already shaping up to be a great year & I feel blessed! Still, I would be sad not to post at least a few pictures from some of the fun photos I was able to squeeze in despite being on 'vacation' in the month of December...you know, some people are just so great it is hard to say no! Enjoy!!!

First up, the Piper Family. Back in October I had the chance to photograph sweet Ashlynn so I was thrilled when they came back for more, this time with the entire family in tow! While we had been hoping for some snow to fall, we had to settle for temps in the single digits- and still these kids were smiling- can you believe it?

By the way, this year Emily started a fabulous new etsy business called Tiny Belles Boutique that has really taken off! If you know any little princesses, you should really check her out! Stillpoint Photography is thrilled to be her official photographer & I look forward to some joint packages and promotions to share throughout the year!!!

Next up are two ladies dear to my heart...this is not the first time I have photographed them, and I am confidant it will not be the last, either. Did you ever see a sweeter mother-daughter pair? So when they asked for a photo shoot in time for Christmas, how could I not oblige?

And finally, I was happy to be able to capture Miss Avary's first Christmas for her mom, dad and big brother Logan. The last time I took pictures, Miss Avary was still chilling in her Mommy's tummy but now she has arrived and what a gift she is!

Four Little P's and How They Grew

I loved each and every image from this photo shoot- no joke. I felt like it truly reflected the chaotic beauty of life with four little kids, each with their own personality, yet their interaction left no doubt to their similarities, either. It is evident that Dad and Mom are doing a wonderful job enjoying this adventure through childhood just as much as the kiddos and for lack of knowing which images to pick, I am simply going to start at the beginning and randomly click on 10-12. Should be interesting to see what pops up! Enjoy!

Twirling, Swirling, Happy Girls

I have always been so grateful that I grew up surrounded by a large extended family on both sides- my summers were filled with "camp-outs" and swimming with my cousins, and every winter we would torture our relatives with some thematic Christmas show...from re-enactments of the first Christmas to a 'Christmas Cooking with Jazzy J'show. They are a huge part of my memories growing up. A rich part. So I was thrilled when I was able to take some pictures of these cousins having fun together on a cool fall day in November. What a momento for them to cherish in years to come... I think their parents will be happy with the results!
